I miss my best friend. A lot. My stomach turned when I saw her cause I miss her so much. But, this is life and I know although it sucks right now that it'll be okay! So, to help me out I'm going to list some things that I'm thankful for.

Conversation That Makes Me Smile.

Her: "Thank you! Did you see me smile at you?"

Me: "Yes ma'am :) made me smile"

This makes me smile. Especially after she told me the other day that I have made her day better many times and that she still has a silly note that I wrote her a year ago reminding her to smile. This makes me feel good.

Tragic to Me.

Mr. Dixon unexpectedly retired today. I'm not going to lie, I actually teared up when I found this out. I've had multiple teachers retire and none of them has come this close. He is my all time favorite teacher. I love him, that class, and everything. He was a great teacher. I'd never been so excited to get to a double period of English. He even would heat up his own soup for me to eat when my braces got tightened.....(oh 7th grade). Possibly my favorite thing about him is that, multiple times in high school we've wasted a whole class period, as students, reminiscing on Mr. Dixon's class. We even have multiple fan clubs for him and out of the things I kept from middle school, 75% of it is from his class. I really am sad but I'm glad that he's finally going to publish and write with his friend from Australia. I can't wait to read his book. I love how as we students have written him e-mails, he responds and remembers everything. I'm proud of being his student. Maybe, one day he'll see this. I respect this man very much. He's the reason why I found love in books. I loved his class.

Pluto Is A Planet

So this rarely happens to me. But, I have Pluto growing on my nose and it's trying to catch up to Rudolph. It's about a week late. Sorry bud, please go away. Anyways, on to a less awkward note. I feel as if I should blog more but, I don't really know what to type about or write about or anything? Anybody got any suggestions? Some things that I've really enjoyed this week is how fast it's gone by. I'm really excited to get my haircut tomorrow. I was supposed to get it cut today but she had to cancel. :/ I'm going to get bangs again and cut a couple inches of my hair. I am a weird girl. As long as I'm not getting a bob or shorter hair cut....I really don't care what they do to my hair. I've gone in to cut 10 inches of my hair and I always hear stories of people crying and I was just like "hack it off!!". Is that weird? Oh well. Also, today I took french class to a whole new level today. I broke my nail on a chalk board while doing verb races. Who knew that that was possible? I know now!! Oh, I'm also watching Psycho in Advanced Communications. I love it. It shouldn't scare me because the killing scenes aren't scary....the scary part is your imagination that Hitchcock is making you use. Today Arbogast (say that name slowly and repeat....we discovered that that's fun to do in class today) was stabbed. I jumped. But the funny thing was that I didn't jump cause of the actually killing. I jumped by the classic, creepy, famous music that goes with the knife being raised in that movie. It was so loud and unexpected. Anyways, when he fell down the stairs it was quite a funny sight to see. Needless to say, I was freaked out in the shower this morning although the murder scene in the shower wasn't even convincing. 10 points to Hitchcock. Well, that's all for now. Hopefully Pluto goes back to being a dwarf soon because it's starting to hurt living and growing on my nose :/ :/ :/ (t.m.i. I know)

Labor Day

Next weekend I am going to list the highlights from my summer. But for now, I'm just going to say how I hate Labor Day. That is all. :)

News.

So, I got a job interview today. Walked in. Filled out a paper. Got told I was hired. Well, that was easy. Hopefully, this was a good decision and that I enjoy my time there. I mainly wanted to get the job to not waste time and to have the experience. Sure, the money aspect is good, but, I'm totally not expecting to be making big bucks....I just want the experience before the real world. On another note. I drove stick shift today without ending up in tears. I'm nowhere near good at it but, I didn't burn too much rubber today or, almost ruin the breaks again! Go Paige!

Waddup.

So, I went to camp and it was so great! I loved every minute of it. I'm so grateful that we have such an amazing camp experience in our stake. Meghan comes out in less than a week! You can't even fathom how excited we are to have her and me especially!!!! I watched the Harry Potter premiere today. It's weird that it's coming to an end for me. But, at least i'll always have the books and films forever!! Mother and I are re-watching all the movies before next week, and I'm hoping to reread book 7.

Camp.

Camp starts on monday and I am so excited. I'm going on the fourth hike which is going to be awesome. I love campinig, I love fires, I love getting dirty, I love everything. I love hiking, and I love the views that mountains give. I'm bringing my camera this week to camp and I'm psychedddd. I have so much to do before the day is over so I'm off! I babysat 6 kids last night and made $50 and tonight I'm babysitting them again+1 so 7 kids!

Bugbites.

AHHH. I'm so sick of having these like 20 bajillion bug bites that have turned into scabs on me. I can only imagine what camp will have in store for me next week when regarding bugs. It's been great sleeping in. I absolutely love it. The only bad thing is like, I wake up, and then I have something to do right away so, my shower schedule is kinda messed up. Shhhh....don't tell anybody :) Yesterday, I spent the afternoon with jenna and it was uberrr fun. We painted signs for camp and just talked and listened to music out in the sun as we painted. It was quite relaxing. I almost got straight A's this marking period. I got like the highest b+ possible in math, so whilethat's a bummer I'm still happy that I did pretty great. Especially in AP US. I'm also glad that I got a B on my math final cause I got a D+ on the midterm and that I got an A- on the Chem final because there were kids who did absolutely horrible and honestly, I was expecting a D. Hahaha. Anyways. I went out to lunch with Clare-Bear the other day and it was quite fun. We went to Iron Hill....I don't think I already posted this little tidbit of information but, if I did, oh well. On another note, I just watched the final trailer for HP 7 Pt. 2 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. SO EXCITED. I'm in love. Well, that's all for now folks :)

Weeding.

As you few readers know, I hate weeding. My famous phrase while I'm weeding is "I can't wait to have my own kids so that I can make them weed. Or I'll make the boy scouts come over to weed." I can even tell yah how much I hate weeding and worms. As my mother knows, I have a humungo pathetic fear of worms. Nobody understands this fear. Oh well :) Later today, I'm going to hang out with Clare-Bear which i'm very excited for. We are referring to our hang out today as a pow-wow. I've considered showing up decked out like an Indian but, sadly I don't have enough time to prepare doing such a thing. Camp is in one week and i'm excited. I'm nervous cause my year has nothing planned, and until recently I didn't have a single other YCL friend YCL-ing with me and my year but, I'm thinking it will still turn out great. My cousin Meghan is coming out in 22 days and I'm so extremely excited for that. She is one of my bestest friends and I love the way that our friendship formed. It's going to be great, she's never been further east than Utah. We're going to have a blast. And then, after she comes I wait a week and then the next week is EFY with her. I'm SO ecstatic about this. Well, I'm off to go shower and get ready for the day and what not!

Naps.

So, over the past three days, I've probably gotten like 16 hours of sleep combined. Needless to say, I've been really tired. Today after church and having people over, I plopped on the couch and then about four hours later, I wake up! At least it was a much needed nap and not just being lazy.

Today is Father's Day. Happy Father's day Papa!! You're the bomb-diggity and the best dad I've ever had. I just love how amazing you are and how amazing you are to my mother :)

After church, as per usual, we invited random new strangers who just moved into the ward. They're a cute somewhat newly married couple. I had a lot of fun eating and talking with them for what seemed like to be three hours. It's summer, and it hasn't really hit me yet. I've kept thinking the whole weekend that I need to be studying or doing my homework, I'm sure that those thoughts will soon go away. Hopefully.

Also, I saw Lion King for the first time last night at my neighbors outdoor movie night extravaganza that he always has. It was great and I really liked it!! I really like that word "extravaganza".

Life thus far. Summer Version.

So, this week was finals. It went pretty well. My chem final was a joke because I did not learn half of the stuff that was on it but, I'm not too worried. I've had a great summer so far. Jenna and I spent a full day and a couple hours together. It included going to parties, getting senior portraits, sleeping over, not actually sleeping, movies, going back to school 3 times even though it's summer, NAHS stuff, and the Media 5 miler. The Media 5 miler was so much fun and I got to try out this new restaurant place where Bill Batty's used to be. I loved it. I love Media and I love the quaintness about it. Although I know that I'm more likely than not ever going to live here again in my life after I leave the house, I'm glad I have been able to live here. Summer awaits and I have so much ahead of me. I can't wait. Hopefully it goes well, and that it's not too stressful. Well, gots to go clean my room.

P.S. The day I get to hear Coldplay live is the day that a thing off my bucket list will be checked off.
