Things To Be Thankful For

I miss my best friend. A lot. My stomach turned when I saw her cause I miss her so much. But, this is life and I know although it sucks right now that it'll be okay! So, to help me out I'm going to list some things that I'm thankful for.

 Friends
Family
Banana Bread
Work
My Dogs
Music
Clothing
C.S. Lewis Home
 Nat+Paige Adventures
Texting
Skyping
Driving
Church
Sleep
Technology
Postcards
Art

Okay, that made me feel better. When life gets rough...don't feel sad....feel grateful!

1. So, our school's Pride Day is like a high school version of elementary field day where you look towards it for the whole school year and is the only last bit of hope for the end of the school year. People always think "if i can just make it to Pride Day then I can make it to Summer!" Seriously. I had fun dominating the "Pastels on Pavement" competition. All the competitions are battles of the grades. My friends and I had fun "motivating and cheering" (cough cough) our friend Taylor during the softball competition. Pride Day was SO hot that all the water was free and they handed out sunscreen to everyone. And yes, I do have a burnt part and a flip flop tan. Be Jealous.

2. So, last night I babysat with Bianca at my sunday school teacher Nickie's house for her two kids and her husbands bff from childhoods kids. Nickie's kids were angels, the others (Tanner and Parker -my cousin and brothers name-were not angels.) haha. Tanner liked to have tantrums so as he told his mommy "I got two time outs!". I was also told by Tanner that I'm a "hottie". Probably the highlight of my night.

3. Oh oh the summer nights, oh well oh well oh well oh UHHH. hahaha dangggg it's like 80-90 degrees here and HOTT. But, boy do I absolutely love it. Better than 72 inches of NON-STOP snow. Bring it Summer.

4. My favorite OLDEST came home! Oh my gosh, I LOVE IT. I love when i'm not the only kid. As much as I absolutely LOVE my parents it's nice to have the other "kiddies" (as my dad says) around. Too bad he's leaving soon :/

5. Speaking of Parker, he took me driving a little. Hmm, stick shift for the first time EVER driving is well, intersting. But, I had fun. Apparently my dad wanted him to take me in the other car but we didn't know so, the first time I EVER drove it was stick. Skill. (and I only stalled 3 times....haahahhahaha)

6. I love when you turn on the radio and they tell you that they're playing summer songs and how they replay the old songs that you love. Every summer my friend and I pick a "summer song" cheesey I know but it's always fun. Last Year's: Fallin' For You by: Colbie Caillait. (Sp?)

7. SHORTS=HAPPINESS WINTERCOATS AND LOOKING LIKE A MARSHMALLOW=NOT QUITE THE SAME EFFECT. just saying.

8. I love life. Everything about it. Happiness is key to feeling great about yourself.

9. Well I'm not dead so, of course life is up there.

10. I drew Abe Lincoln in Charcoal, hope you enjoy it.

11. Jenna's recital! Oh my, it was AMAZING. 3 Hours of magnificence. I love watching her dance and my other friend that dances there Clare. They're inspirational to watch. P.S. new favorite song after seeing the recital Winter Song: Sara Bareilles/Ingrid Michaelson.

Well, here are the photos.
